Assembled at 6:00 AM this morning. Went to the downtown area around the parks. Gave out brand new winter coats, new blankets, hats, gloves, hygiene kits, and handwarmers.
Lots of people laying on sidewalks sleeping, trying to stay warm in the cold and damp.
We are going through coats like crazy at a high cost. But, they are desperately needed. Next purchase will be more coats and boots.
Breaking for a few hours. Will go out again mid-afternoon. We appreciate the support we get. Thank you for helping us...
